Comments: Tyson exhibits some very positive characteristics. He is good with cats, dogs, taking baths, and going for walks. He is housebroken, comes when called, and walks on a lead. He shows some fear of strangers and noise.

Tyson has several body scars which might indicate he was used as a bait dog for dog fighting. He is affectionate and loving with Lifeline staff including kissy licks. Signs of poor treatment, and perhaps from being a stray, include counter surfing and getting into garbage.

Tyson is shy but approachable and very sweet, though pretty much a loner. He is smart, sweet, and fine with other dogs yet doesn’t really play with them. He likes to follow people around then sits and watches when you’re busy with chores.

Tyson would do well with a person who spends sufficient time to help with bonding and to establish trust. The on site manager at Lifeline commented that Tyson “…reminds me of Old Yellar”.
