Jefferson is friendly and has lots of energy. He loves to run for the ball. He is also very happy snuggling up to you on the sofa. He is a calm boy indoors and playful outside. He is very loving, a big baby who just loves attention. Jefferson will blossom with the right interaction. He gets along with other dogs, large or small, but he especially likes the females.
Jefferson is a wonderful boy with a sweet temperament. He does not like to be confined, he is not a crate dog. He has had total freedom at Lifeline. He has been just fine left alone for short periods. However, you may just have to move your shoes out of his reach. We would prefer a family who will not leave him for long periods.
It is wise to note although Jefferson looks large, he is still very young. He is intelligent and smart.
Jefferson is house trained, loves walks, he does pull a little on the leash. He loves to run free at the beach or on a nature trail. He is magnificent in full stride. He enjoys car rides and is good in the car.
Jefferson would make a wonderful family dog with lots of family interaction. It is essential that Jefferson’s new home have a fenced-in yard for him to play and run. He would love to have a female dog to play with.
