We are showing off a very happy pack of Lifeline dogs while catching up on website updates with 6 very happy tails posted for May 2015.
Here are names linked to their Happy Tails stories.
Top left to right in alphabetical order are: Blue, Callie, and Daisy.
Bottom left to right are: Ginger, Penny, and Zion.
Their stories include wonderful new adoptive parents, foster fails adopted by the foster parents, and a fence jumper who picked a family.
That last one would be Zion, and if you don’t laugh you may cry tears of happiness with what was truly a “first” for Lifeline Dog Rescue.
Bottom line isn’t always how Lifeline dogs find their furever homes. Every story brings tears of joy knowing they left us for a better life.
Thanks, again, to all the wonderful people who made that choice to adopt one of our dogs.
This happy male Weimaraner-Lab Retriever mix from Lifeline is named Zion, and he is ready for adoption into a loving forever home.
Life hadn’t been easy for Zion. He was a stray in a kill shelter and heartworm positive when rescued by Lifeline just hours before from being put to sleep.
View the story and more photos of Zion.
After 3 months of treatment and loving care in a foster home, Zion is heartworm negative, and not only happy, but healthy.
It is essential for this big boy for have a forever home with a fenced in yard, pool, lanai, or acreage where he can run and play.
Please consider adoptiong Zion. You won’t be disappointed. Zion is so lovable even the vets looked forward to his appointments!
From the neck down he is all Weimaraner, and he has the personality so common in Weim dogs. He loves to be around family.
Likewise, Zion will want to share the sofa and bed looking for any opportunity for cuddles.
A family that is home most of the time would work best for Zion. He doesn’t like to be alone for long periods, so crating would NOT work for this boy.
Please read Zion’s adoption listing and share online to help Lifeline get Zion adopted into a well deserved forever home.

Introducing Sarge, a purebred two year old weimaraner available for adoption from Lifeline Dog Rescue, and looking for a forever home.

Site visitors may notice the 2015 Lifeline mobile friendly makeover with a fresh look and ease of use for readers who browse on mobile devices.
Despite being used to our old site since 2011, the new look is part of keeping up with technology.
The screenshot shown here was taken on a smart phone while viewing the Lifeline Dog Rescue blog.
On a smart phone the old site required scrolling or pinch to zoom to read text which is annoying.
The new mobile friendly design presents readable text viewed on a vertical or horizontal screen.
The mobile menu bar converts to tabs when viewed on larger devices like laptop or desktop monitors.
More Mobile Features
The mobile design strategy offers a minimalist approach allowing graphics and pages to load faster.
The code detects your browser width and automatically adapts content to fit your mobile screen.
For example, in desktop view there is a right sidebar. On smart phones it appears after content.
Mobile users may now press email or phone number links to email, call, or text Lifeline instantly.
We expect our mobile friendly makeover to provide mobile device visitors a better user experience.
Welcome to 2015. We hope you like the new look.

Since her critical condition last November, the next chapter for female weim Pollo takes her a step closer to a complete recovery and happier life.
Here’s Pollo napping with a Weimaraner foster companion two months later. Despite her ordeal, she has become a happy and friendly puppy again.
Lifeline Dog Rescue fans may recall the first graphic photos of Pollo posted on November 10, 2014.
Some readers felt the gruesome photos of her damaged left eye and bloody broken jaw were inappropriate.
We felt her condition needed to be shown. The before and after provide evidence of her strength and character.
The next chapter begins with more dental and jaw surgery on January 27th, and finally pelvis x-rays plus rehab at the medical center.
We are forever grateful to the Pollo fans who stepped up to support Pollo who was in critical condition and close to certain death.
Today she already enjoys going to the dog park, plays with her two Weim companions in foster, and is expected to make a full recovery.

Thanks, again, to all the loyal fans who have helped Lifeline write a happy ending in the next chapter for female Weim puppy Pollo.
