Two purebred Weimaraner dogs were adopted this week from Lifeline Dog Rescue into one family and moved to a new forever home. Shanti the 6 year old female Weim and pal Troy, 5 years old, were adopted together to a new life on the east coast of Central Florida.
New Mom Sherry has been looking for a canine companion since her dog Scotty passed away last May. She said she was so sad without him. She has known Weimaraners since childhood and has always wanted one.
That changed when she met Shanti and Troy. How about two? Each of these purebred Weimaraners are laid back and easy to manage, so Sherry decided to take both. All dogs from Lifeline Dog Rescue are up to date on shots, spayed or neutered, and microchipped.
We are thrilled that pals Shanti and Troy became adopted siblings. They certainly enjoyed their comfort, freedom, and safety during their stay on the 3 acre Lifeline facility. Being together will help them during the transistion as they adjust to their new life.
Family fun will include walks, the dog park, and going for a ride! Their community is dog friendly with a large play area just for dogs near their home, too!
Thanks again, Sherry, for opening your home and your heart to give our two lovable Weims the life they deserve. Happy Trail wishes to all for long life and many happy memories!
