A special thanks goes out to Greg and Noelle, plus their dog Gunner, for adopting Leila the German Shepherd and sending a family photo. The family is shown here enjoying an outing at the local dog park.
Earlier this week along with the photograph they wrote in the email:
Our girl is doing really well, and happy. She is getting into bed now, and sleeping with us for several hours at a time. Very loving and sweet! Leila only has one problem, like most German Shepherds, it’s really hard to get her to eat. Everything is more interesting than what’s in the food bowl!
She ate some breakfast this morning, nothing last night, and wouldn’t eat dinner tonight till I mixed fried chicken with some Purina One and gave her that. I want her to put on some weight, but it may take a while at this rate.
We went to the dog park yesterday, and she ran and played and had a great time chasing her new ball with Gunner.
The Lifeline staff always enjoys hearing from the wonderful people who have adopted dogs from Lifeline Dog Rescue, and especially appreciate seeing photos and news about how they are doing.
Again, thank you. The email signature of “Greg, Noelle, Leila, and Gunner” really made us smile.
