Zippy the English Pointer goes for a ride while viewing the Atlanta skyline at night en route to his new forever home in Georgia. Zippy was adopted the last week of February. The other photos show Zippy with his human parents David and Sara (center), and new sister Dixie (right).

Zippy’s new home in Georgia includes 2.5 acres to run and play, plus a pool with a shallow end to enjoy.
Lifeline staff are certainly grateful to David and Sara for opening their hearts and home to Zippy. They chose him as a companion to their current dogs, Dixie and Tipsy, and felt a senior dog deserves to enjoy their golden years.
We are always sad to see dogs leave, yet happy or even happier because they’re adopted.
Best of luck to Zippy the purebred English Pointer and his new family in suburban Georgia.
