Lifeline communicated with the volunteer rescue coordinator to help the owner place Buddy. We agreed to accept him and then arrangements were made for his transportation. The volunteer agreed to have Buddy neutered at our expense on Friday. On Saturday he was transported part of the way and transferred to a Lifeline Dog Rescue staff member.
Buddy was evaluated and placed in the general population at our facility later Satuday, and adopted on Sunday to his forever home after meeting his new human parent Billy at our dog rescue property.
Man and dog hit it off immediately, and Billy has since reported that Buddy adapted and settled in very well to his new surroundings the very first day. Look again at that BIG doggy smile in the photograph! Visit the adopted page for Buddy to view more details.
This adoption happened quickly because Billy had already contacted us about the breed that interested him.
Readers can prequalify for adoption, too! Contact us if interested in a breed specific adoption if you don’t see a dog matching what you have in mind on the Lifeline Dog Rescue website. Visit and fill-in our Adoption Request Dog Rescue Form and leave the Lifeline dog name field blank.
We are networked with many other private dog rescue organizations and will try to help.
Thanks, again, to Billy for opening his heart and his home to Buddy the Black Mouth Cur rescue dog. The staff of Lifeline Dog Rescue wishes you both a wonderful lifetime of love and companionship!
