Velvet’s Adoption and New Life

Velvet is a beautiful girl who was picked up as a stray by a North Florida Animal Control. Velvet became urgent and was set to be euthanized. We brought Velvet into Lifeline and placed her in foster care.

Velvet was always a good girl and fit right in with her foster brothers and sisters. For a 1 year old she was surprisingly calm, almost a little timid. She was always very sweet and calm. At het foster home in Lakeland, Velvet learned what it was like to be a happy girl. Velvet quickly became a favorite.

Velvet now lives in Tavares, Florida with her new mom and dad. She is adored and very much a family member. Velvet had a name change to Sadie. She enjoys the outings with her mom and dad and lazing around the pool with her kitty friend. Lifeline was proud to be Velvet’s rescue.

Thank you so much Tonya and Bernie, for opening up your hearts and home to adopt our beautiful girl Velvet. We wish you many years of Happy Trails and lots of special moments with Velvet.
