Adoption and New Life for Riley
Riley was left at a South Carolina kill shelter with his companion when his owners moved out of state. His companion who he adored was a smaller dog and was adopted quickly from the shelter. Riley was left behind again.
The shelter was situated in a retirement community and it was always the smaller dogs that got adopted.
An animal advocate reached out to us and asked if we could take Riley and find him a new home. Riley was getting depressed without his companion.
We transported Riley to Florida and placed him in foster care where he had a buddy Riley was sweet and got along fine with his new friend but really wanted a female to snuggle with.
Riley is a happy calm boy and was a joy to have in rescue. He was with us for 6 months we reviewed applications until we found the perfect one for him. On October 11th 2014 Riley left Lifeline to join his new family.
Riley now lives in Ormond Beach Florida with his new Mommy and Daddy. He has a beautiful female playmate a Chocolate retriever called Macy.
Riley is a happy boy he perks up when he sees Macy. He has a beautiful home where he can sit out on the pool lanai or run in the yard, and he has a wonderful mom and dad that adore him.
Life is good for Riley he has everything he needs. The upheaval of the past 8 months have paid off and are distant memories for him. Lifeline is so happy for Riley; his life is complete again.
