Adopted Female Labrador Retriever Nellie

This female purebred Labrador Retriever, Nellie, rescued at 10 months from a public shelter, was adopted in 2012 from Lifeline Dog Rescue.

Nellie is a very lively and playful puppy who loves car rides, sleeping in your bed, playing with other dogs, and wet sloppy kissy licks. She left animal control and smiles nonstop while showing off her pure white teeth.

Nellie Adoption and New Life

Nellie spent very little time at Lifeline before being adopted. She is a very happy purebred black female Labrador Retriever with gorgeous eyes and a big smile. Nellie arrived on a Monday, passed evaluation for health and behavior immediately, was spayed that Thursday, and adopted that weekend.

Nellie was placed so quickly, she was never featured as adoptable on the Lifeline Dog Rescue website, so we only took 1-2 photos of her.

In less than 2 weeks, Nellie went from being caged and scared at a public kill shelter to the good life roaming a large ranch in rural Central Florida. Her new human Mom, Becky, has the ideal home for a black purebred lab, and will provide the training and discipline a puppy needs.

Thank you so much Becky for giving this beautiful girl a wonderful forever home. We wish you and Nellie all the happiness in the world!
