Adoption and New Life for Lenny
Lenny was being discarded after finishing his time as a stud dog.
We placed Lenny in rehab and worked hard on his awesome transformation.
Lenny knew nothing when he came into us, never had a comfy bed or toys, and never saw the outside of his pen.
He was a scared boy and terrified of men. After spending 9 months in rehab it was now time for him to get settled in a loving forever home.
Once listed for adoption, one application stood out from a couple that had fostered special needs Golden Retrievers for another rescue.
They accepted Lenny on a trial basis, and fell in love with Lenny who did so well with 2 new strangers. Even gave kisses.
Lenny now lives in North Port Florida with his new parents Kim and Kent, and he has a handsome brother Marley. He is a very happy boy.
Lifeline staff are ecstatic that Lenny has a wonderful forever home. He is getting more relaxed every day.
Thank you to our great foster teams Amber, Bill, Kim, and Brian for all your hard work and never giving up on Lenny.
Likewise, thank you so much Kim and Kent, for opening up your heart and home to adopt our handsome boy Lenny and making his life complete.
We wish you many years of Happy Trails and lots of special moments.
