Kalen’s Adoption and New Life

Kalen, a striking handsome boy was picked up by animal control and placed in a North Georgia kill shelter. We rescued him in November 2013 and transported him to Florida. Kalen was placed in foster care.

Kalen is a wonderful boy, he doesn’t like too much chaos, he plays well with others but prferes to be around humans. He is a loving boy and just loves to cuddle.

Kalen left Lifeline for his forever home on 27th February 2014. Kalen’s new Daddy contacted us after reading his bio. They had recently lost their beloved pet and had been searching for a new companion. When they saw Kalen’s photo and details, they just knew he was the one that would help to heal their hearts.

Kalen now lives in Orlando, Florida, with his new Mom and Dad who are very active and are avid marathon runners. Kalen runs with them and has no problems with the miles they run each day. Kalen has had a change of name and is now called Brooks. He enjoys his new life, he has lots of playtime and attention. Although his Mom and Dad work, Kalen is happy to relax in his home waiting patiently for them to return for his evening run when they return.

Thank you so much Jennifer and Craig, for opening up your hearts and home to adopt our handsome boy Kalen. We wish you many years of happy trails and lots of special moments.
