Adopted Male Pitbull Mix Ernie

This male Pitbull Mix dog Ernie was pulled from death row at a local shelter and was adopted in 2012 from Lifeline Dog Rescue.

Ernie Adoption and New Life

It has been a long journey for Ernie the Pitbull Mix, yet he was adopted on September 21, 2012 after 9 months total in rehab and then waiting for his forever home. The pdf photo story of Ernie and Bert and how they escaped death row is the most frequently downloaded item from our website. It has been updated with new photos and the happy ending.

You could never tell from his deplorable health on death row last December that Ernie would transform into a beautiful, friendly, and loving dog. His new forever family lives in Central Florida in a single family home with a fenced yard.

Recreation plans include walks, the park, swimming, boating, and travel.

Lifeline staff are so thankful to new human parents Stephanie and Eric for opening their hearts and lives to share with our adorable Ernie. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

We wish all a long life together creating and sharing happy memories.
