This female purebred Weimaraner named Bambi has been adopted in 2015 from Lifeline Dog Rescue.
Bambi came back into rescue after her family life changed and they now did not have time for her.
Bambi was surrendered back to us in August 2014 and was unhappy and overweight.

Adoption and New Life for Bambi
Bambi came back into Lifeline after 2 years of being adopted. Her family life had changed and her owners had very little time for her.
When Bambi arrived back with us she was unhappy and overweight
We placed her in rehab and watched her awesome transformation.
Bambi originally came to us 2 yrs prior she had lost her human mommy in a car accident and her daddy couldn’t cope and placed both her and her Beagle brother in a kill shelter.
We got Bambi out from the shelter and Beagle rescue took her brother.
We vetted Bambi and she came up Heart worm positive. 3 months on after treatment Bambi was clear.
Through all he events Bambi became a needy girl and just wanted someone to be with and love her.
Sadly after 2 yrs her adoptive family gave her up. It was clear she had not had the attention; she was miserable and overweight.
We worked with Bambi for 5 months and today she is happy healthy and back to weight.
On 20 February 2015 it was Bambi’s lucky day. Bambi left us to join her new family in St Augustine Florida
Her new mommy and daddy had the choice of 3 of our wonderful weims, but Bambi stole their hearts.
Bambi has been getting used to her new environment and has settled in just fine soaking up all the love and attention.
She enjoyed meeting all her new family and has certainly made herself at home chasing lizards in the yard.
We learnt that her new mom and dad have changed her name. She is now called Selkie.
A new start and a new name – life is good for our sweet princess.
